The agreement between you and us.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and SIXSIDE MARKETING INC. ("Vellia", "we", "us"), a company registered in Ontario, Canada, covering your use of the Vellia iPhone app. By downloading or using Vellia, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Vellia. By using the app you confirm that you are, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Vellia does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a wellness tool that helps you record and understand what you're experiencing. Nothing in the app — including AI-generated responses, pattern reports, and content posted by other members — is a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Always talk to your doctor or another qualified provider about any health concern, and never delay seeking care or disregard professional advice because of something you read in Vellia. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Patterns and insights shown in Vellia are statistical observations drawn from the data you enter. They describe associations, not causes, and they are not clinical findings.
Some features, including the Community, require an account created with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your Community posts and your account record.
When you post in Vellia's Community, you keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the app. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to retain it by law.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
We have a no-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are prohibited, and content that breaks these rules is removed. Accounts that post it may be suspended or permanently terminated without warning and without refund.
Posts are screened before they appear. You can report any post from its menu or by swiping left on it, and you can block any member from the same menu. We review every report and act on it, typically within 24 hours.
Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Breaking them is a breach of this agreement.
Ask Vellia uses a third-party AI model to generate responses. Its answers are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not reviewed by a clinician before you see them. Treat them as a starting point for your own reading and for conversations with your provider, not as a source of truth.
Messages you send to Ask Vellia are transmitted to our service provider in order to generate a reply. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
Vellia offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings under your name, then Subscriptions.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us.
You agree not to misuse Vellia. That includes attempting to access another person's account, interfering with the app's operation or security, scraping or copying content at scale, reverse-engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Vellia. We'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You can stop using Vellia and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 2, 4, 10, and 11 — continue to apply.
Vellia is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Vellia. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for Vellia. Apple is not obliged to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms. When we make a meaningful change, we'll ask you to review and accept the updated version in the app. Continuing to use Vellia after a change means you accept it.
